This page provides a list of documents to be submitted with an application from a Fidei Donum priest interested in serving in the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan.

Currently, the archdiocese does not have any open positions for fidei donum priests.

Only in the event of a vacancy will applicants be contacted. To apply, please submit the following documents to the Archbishop’s Secretary at exec.agm@live.ca:


Necessary Documents for Application

  1. Curriculum Vitae (if you do not have one click here for the template we prefer)

  2. Copy of a current passport with expiration date clearly shown. It should show validity for a minimum of three years.

  3. A copy of current, valid national or state driver’s license (Not an international driver’s license) with expiration date clearly shown. We check for validity.

  4. A letter of reference from your Ordinary or Superior endorsing your application.

  5. Criminal Record Check from your most recent place of residence.


Without all of the above documents, you will not be considered for ministry in the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan.

*If you already have a Canadian Visa with a minimum of 2 years validity, please send us a copy of it. After the approval of the archdiocese, you will receive our letter of invitation.
