We will be having a number of “Farewell Visitations” over the coming weeks and months as Archbishop Pettipas prepares for his retirement and bids farewell to his role as Archbishop of Grouard-McLennan. His retirement tour will include a visit to each of our five deaneries, as well as an open house at our chancery office in Grande Prairie.

Finally, on October 4th, we will hold a Jubilee Year Mass and “Celebration of Succession” in McLennan to offer Archbishop Pettipas one last farewell and to celebrate the ministry of Archbishop Charles Duval as he becomes the sole Archbishop of Grouard-McLennan. More details to be announced soon.
