Archdiocese mourns the passing of Fr. Sabinus Iwu, SMMM

“We were saddened to hear the news of the sudden passing of Fr. Sabinus Iwu, a priest of the Congregation of the Sons of Mary Mother of Mercy who replaced Fr. Eucharius for three months at St. Paul’s in High Prairie last summer while Father was on a sabbatical. For those who were present at the prayer service prior to the funeral of Fr. Joseph Choji at the cathedral in McLennan, Fr. Sabinus joyfully lead the chanting of the psalms.  May he rest in peace. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in the peace of Christ, and in his resurrection.  Alleluia!”
