Archbishop Charles Duval’s visitation in Deanery 5 is now underway!
During this visitation, a tradition begun by Archbishop Emeritus Pettipas, the archbishop will meet with every parish community of the host deanery. He will celebrate Mass, live with the priests, and visit the local schools, hospitals, retirement homes and often the homes and workplaces of parishioners.
This year’s visitation will be with the most northernly deanery of the archdiocese, including the communities of Chateh (Assumption), Eleske, Fort Vermilion, Fox Lake, Garden River, High Level, John D’Or Prairie, Meander River, Paddle Prairie, Rainbow Lake and Tall Cree.
Let us pray for Archbishop Duval as he continues his visitation, which began on April 12th and ends on May 3rd.
