Celebration of Succession & Jubilee Year Mass

Here are some photos from our Celebration of Succession and Jubilee Year Mass in McLennan, held on Saturday, Oct. 4th.

This momentous celebration included a “passing of the crozier”, symbolizing Archbishop Charles Duval taking possession of the Archdiocese of Grouard-McLennan; a procession of Jubilee Year banners from each of our deaneries; the blessing of miraculous medals to honour our Jubilee Year pilgrimage; the commemoration of the dedication of St. John the Baptist Cathedral; and one last major liturgical celebration with Archbishop Emeritus Gerard Pettipas. We thank everyone for joining us on this most special day.
