Thomas Wollis ordained as Deacon

Thomas James Wollis of Peace River was ordained to the Transitional Diaconate on August 19th, 2025, at St. Martin Catholic Church in Wabasca. Thomas previously spent a year of pastoral internship at this parish as a seminarian.

Thomas was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons, by His Grace Archbishop Gerard Pettipas, CSsR. Persons from around the community and wider archdiocese, and seminarians from across Alberta and even Saskatchewan, came to support Thomas during this most sacred celebration.
